SC.M2M Platform

Control over the SIM cards in any hardware

The SC.M2M Platform allows remote management of SIM cards in any equipment, as well as doing basic operation for this equipment control and management in case if certain protocols are supported by this equipment. The proposed solution for M2M device management consists of ACS (auto-configuration server) for CPE (customer premises equipment), working in the mobile network (2G/3G/4G) or in IOT networks (LoRaWAN, ZigBee, Z-Wave etc.).

System features allow customers and MNO to optimize management, costs and prevent non-intended use of devices.

  • Management by customers and MNO can be configured using the events mechanism. For example: data traffic volume is calculated by device group: when it goes over threshold value, then working mode is changed (if this rule is set by the customer) or an option in the billing plan is switched off (if this rule is set by the MNO)

  • Reducing the MNO’s licensing costs via using internal HLR and billing for operation with M2M subscribers. Therefore, licensed MSISDN and billing capacities will not have to be used for SIM card data. For this purpose, platform may contain a special HLR (SC.M2M EasyHLR) and billing for operation with M2M subscribers.
